By using the services you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use them. Our Privacy Policy explains how we use personal information. Sussex Marine Watersports Ltd is registered in England and Wales, company number 04258583.

Using the services

You may use the services for your own personal, lawful use. You agree not to:

  • misuse the services, interfere with their operation or try to gain unauthorised access to them or to our systems;
  • copy, scrape or harvest content in bulk, or use it for a competing service, without our written permission;
  • send us anything unlawful, abusive, misleading or that infringes someone else's rights;
  • use the services in any way that could harm others or our reputation.

Information, prices and availability

We work hard to keep the services accurate, but information can change or contain mistakes.

  • New models — specifications, images and “from” prices come from the manufacturer and our price lists and are guides only (MSRP on the entry package). Fees, options and delivery can change the final price. Please check with us before you rely on a price or specification.
  • Pre-owned and brokerage skis — listings are invitations to enquire, not offers to sell. A sale is only agreed when we confirm it with you directly. Skis are sold as seen and tested unless we agree otherwise in writing, and are subject to prior sale. Photos, hours and descriptions are given in good faith.
  • Finance — finance is provided by third-party lenders, subject to status and their terms. Ask us for full details. We do not give financial advice on this website.
  • We cannot sell or take payment through the website or apps; please contact us to arrange anything.

Launching, storage and workshop services

Launching, storage and workshop services are provided on the conditions on our Launch & store page and in any booking confirmation. In summary, to launch from our site the master of a craft must be at least 16, hold an RYA PWC recognised qualification and third-party liability insurance of at least £2 million, and we require a copy of the policy. Craft stored with us or booked into our workshop must also be insured, and we are not responsible for theft or loss of your craft. We accept no liability for damage to your ski or trailer during launching, to the extent the law allows. Operating a craft is your responsibility and risk — always follow the law, port authority rules, the manufacturer's guidance and safe seamanship.

Webcams, tides and other live information

Webcams, tide times, notices and similar information are provided for general interest only. They may be delayed, unavailable or inaccurate and must never be used for navigation or to decide whether it is safe to go on the water.

Mobile apps

  • Licence — we give you a personal, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use the apps on devices you own or control, for the purposes in these terms.
  • App stores — your use is also subject to the Apple Media Services Terms or Google Play Terms of Service. Apple and Google are not responsible for the apps or any support for them, and Apple is a third-party beneficiary of these terms as they apply to the iOS app.
  • Updates — we may update the apps and may require you to update to keep using them.
  • Remove Ads — an optional one-time in-app purchase that removes advertising from the apps for your Apple or Google account. It is processed by Apple or Google; prices are shown before you buy. You can restore it on other devices signed in to the same store account (More › Restore purchases). Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies and your statutory rights. It does not affect advertising on our website.

Advertising and third-party content

The services may show advertising and link to or embed third-party sites and content (for example maps, dealer details, Instagram posts, webcams, the manufacturer’s spec sheets and finance providers). We do not control or endorse them and are not responsible for their content, products or practices. Dealings with advertisers or other third parties are between you and them.

Intellectual property

The services, their design and our content are owned by us or our licensors and protected by intellectual property laws. Sea-Doo and related names, logos and images are trademarks or copyright of BRP (Bombardier Recreational Products Inc.) and its affiliates; we are an authorised dealer. You may view and share links to the services but may not otherwise copy, modify or reuse our content without permission.

What you send us

If you send us a message or other material, you confirm it is yours to send. You give us permission to use it to respond to you and to run our business, as set out in our Privacy Policy.

Our responsibility to you

We provide the services with reasonable care and skill, but they are provided “as is” and we cannot promise they will always be available, error-free or up to date.

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot be limited or excluded by law, and your statutory consumer rights are not affected. Subject to that, we are not liable for loss that was not a foreseeable result of our breach, or for business losses if you use the services for business purposes.

Suspension and changes

We may change, suspend or withdraw any part of the services at any time, and we may update these terms. The current version, with its date, is always on our website and in the apps (More › Terms of Use). If you keep using the services after a change you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms and any dispute about them are governed by the law of England and Wales and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer living in Scotland or Northern Ireland you may also bring proceedings in your local courts.
